This site is the result of a Teaching and Learning Enhancement Scheme grant awarded by ACU National to the ‘Arts and Culture team ‘at ACU National in Queensland in 2006. In launching this site in 2007, I acknowledge the support and guidance of Pro-Vice Chancellor ACU National (Research) Professor Gabrielle McMullan, School of Arts and Sciences Dean, Professor Gail Grossley and Head of Arts and Sciences (Queensland) Dr. Lindsay Farrell.

Without their support, this site would not have become a reality. I also acknowledge and thank the teachers and students of Year 3 Earnshaw College Banyo in Brisbane for their contributions to this Fayre website and their annual participation in the Fayre held on the McAuley campus in May of each year. Additionally, Bachelor of Education students in ‘Integrative Creative Arts’ and Bachelor of Arts students in ‘The Arts and Culture’ richly contributed to the resource site designing education medieval units and researching medieval life to bring colour and diversity to the site for middle school sectors of education in Queensland.
